Can I give this more than 5 stars?
I received an advance copy of this book (part 2 of a planned three part series)
from the author. I loved part one, which I will tell you is hot, hot, HOT and
I loved this story, Shaun's backstory, even more. This series gets better and better. It is addictive.
Dori Lavelle grabs you by the emotional lapels and pulls you in.
This second contribution to the Learning To Live Again series, is written in a difficult format of jumps forward and backward in time. It is like reading two stories at the same time, both starring Shaun and slowly opening up his difficult past. As tough as this format can be, Dori does a masterful job of keeping the reader clear on what is taking place, although at times you waill say "WAIT! I need to know more!"
Have faith, all the pieces to the puzzle are eventually revealed.
I will have an emotional wait for the third installment but will enjoy rereading both books one and two over again until the release of To Breathe Again
